Lunchtime Learning, Wednesdays in April, Noon to 1 pm

Join Rev. Tara Steele and Ministerial Intern Lawrence Edwards for a conversation exploring your life's purpose. We'll draw upon Stephen Cope's book, The Great Work of Your Life, over the five April Wednesdays from noon to 1 pm. Cope's commentary draws from the Bhagavad Gita with examples from extraordinary and ordinary lives. Dawid Zawila, unsplash.com The New Year brings new Wednesday Wisdom experiences. All of these events are free, and love offerings are gratefully received. Every Wednesday from 6 to 6:45 pm, Rev. Siota Belle leads a meditation circle in Waggoner Halls. It's called Inviting the Sacred . Whether you are a longtime meditator or new to the practice, you are welcome. Four months out of the year, you are invited to register for  Lunchtime Learning , a free one-hour class from noon to 1 pm. January's class is led by Dr. Edward Viljoen. For those of you who registered ahead or at the first class, here are the topics: January 8 - Goals January 15 - Vision January 22 - Affirmations January 29 - Release Now and then throughout the year, there are special Wednesday evenings. On January 29, at 7 pm, join Karen Drucker as she leads us in a Sacred Singing Night . In community, we'll enjoy beautiful songs, prayer, and stillness. All are welcome to this free event.

Blessings As the Light Returns - See you Wednesday, January 8

As we move through the season of holidays, renewal, and powerful intention, know that your aspirations, your prayers, your yearnings, matter. Spirit is always present, responding to your thoughts, your feelings, your highest good.  Blessings in this time of Solstice, as days begin to lengthen, seeds sprout in the warming soil, and hearts fill with compassion for all. The New Year brings Wednesday Wisdom, free classes, facilitated evening meditation, occasional special evening programs. "Celebrating the Light of Joy" with Rev. Joyce Kinzel, Wednesday, December 18, 7 pm

This Divine quality has a sweetness and presence that is deeper and more lasting than our moments of happiness. Join with Rev. Joyce Kinzel as she explores how we open to and experience joy, in special moments and in everyday life. The conversation begins at 7 pm in Waggoner Hall, North Wing. Everyone is welcome. "Celebrating the Light of Peace," with Rev. Tara Steele, 7 pm, Wednesday, December 11

Dalai Lama This Wednesday we celebrate peace, beginning with the stillness of contemplation then moving into a conversation about the meaning of peace. Rev. Tara brings a simple phrase to the discussion, "Peace means no fighting." The gathering begins at 7 pm in Waggoner Hall. There is facilitated meditation in Room 11 at 6:15 to deepen your experience of stillness before we meet. All are welcome. Offerings for the love of our center are gratefully received.
