Wednesday Evening Service

Our words carry power. They can breathe life into the wonders of our imagination, or they can cause harm. This is why the first agreement in Don Miguel Ruiz’s The Four Agreements is to “be impeccable with your word.” At our upcoming Wednesday Evening Service, we’ll explore how to become more aware of the words we release into the world and the impact they have—on ourselves and on others. When we consciously choose our language, we open the door to shifting our circumstances for the better. Join Rev. Russ this Wednesday and discover how the words you speak can transform your life.

  What does it mean to be Spirit? What does it mean to really feel our spiritual nature, to know that we are a part of the infinite?  Spirit is present in all creation. Each person experiences the wholeness of Spirit to the degree that they recognize and accept it within themselves. Tonight, in our final Wednesday Evening Service exploring the Ten Core Concepts of the Science of Mind and Spirit, we will explore how we can better recognize the Spirit within us by cultivating Cosmic Consciousness.  See you soon! -Russ

In fact, because Spirit is all there is, that means that we, too, are endlessly creating.   #1 - Oneness Spirit (whatever we choose to call the infinite “something”) is the source of all that is, and Spirit is all that is. Everything is made of Spirit and is a unique expression of The Infinite. What is Oneness?   For much of my life I went it alone. I thought I had to do everything myself, that there was nobody who was willing to help me. This was a challenging way to approach my life--and it was a difficult path, it turns out, I didn't need to follow.  In our experiential New Year's Day Wednesday Evening Service (try saying that three times fast!), I'll share with you a spiritual concept that I wish I knew when I was determined to go it alone: how we can nurture a relationship with what Ernest Holmes calls "The Friend Within," that aspect of our spiritual existence that is available to us 24/7 as our coach and best friend.  Tonight will be filled with music, we will set intentions, and we will connect with our Friend Within so that we might have all the love and support needed to bring that intention to life.
