What If Gratitude Could Change Your Life—Right Now?

Imagine a moment when you genuinely feel seen, connected, and open to all that life has to offer—not just what you have today but the good waiting to unfold. Tonight, we invite you to a Thanksgiving Eve experience that goes beyond reflection—it’s about practicing gratitude as a powerful, creative force in your life.

Gratitude is about opening the door to transformation. Neuroscience shows that gratitude can rewire the brain, fostering deeper connection and resilience. Stories of individuals like Michael, who found renewed purpose after loss, or Sarah, who navigated unimaginable grief by cherishing the love still in her life, reveal a truth: gratitude heals. It expands our capacity to see beauty and build hope, even amid challenges.

Closer to home, members of our community have shared how these teachings have shifted their lives. One described how the Center gave them tools to see the universe as supportive and loving. Another found hope and resilience in the message that gratitude transforms perception and expands possibilities. The practice of giving thanks, even for what hasn’t yet appeared, has changed lives—why not yours?

This evening’s service is an opportunity to embody that truth. We'll celebrate the joy of togetherness through music led by Christopher Fritzsche, the Center band, and the choir. In guided meditation and shared reflection, we’ll plant seeds of appreciation for today and intention for tomorrow. Dr. Edward Viljoen will lead the evening with a powerful spiritual mind treatment from Tamayra Hulme, anchoring us in the energy of gratitude and creation.

You’ll leave this service inspired and equipped to:

  • See the extraordinary in the everyday.
  • Use gratitude as a tool to prepare your mind for new possibilities.
  • Embody the future you want by feeling, imagining, and living as if it has already come to pass.

Practice that begins with something as simple as noticing the warmth of a sunny day or the kindness of a stranger—and grows into a transformative way of being.

Sacred Wednesday Singing Event with Karen Drucker on November 20

A Taizé service is a contemplative, meditative practice inspired by a monastic community Taizé in France. Its simplicity, repetition, and silence characterize it, creating a space for deep reflection and prayer. The service features short, repetitive songs that are easy to learn and sing meditatively, helping the participants focus on the divine. Taizé services often include periods of silence, prayers, and readings. The service intends to foster an experience of inner peace, unity, and communion. Karen Druker will provide a Taizé service for our community on Wednesday, November 20, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. Here is what Karen says about the experience: “Music has the ability to bypass the mind and sink into the heart.” Breathing, stillness, rest, calm, allowing yourself to just “be” and not “do” for a little while. Settling into your heart and dropping into that place of inner knowing. With all that is going on in the world right now, give yourself a “time out” and allow yourself to be...
