Inviting the Sacred: A Midweek Pause for Peace

Finding time to reconnect with peace and presence can feel elusive during a busy week. Yet, even a few moments of stillness can transform our inner world. That’s the heart of Wednesday Meditation: Inviting the Sacred, a weekly gathering designed to create space for reflection, connection, and renewal.

Every Wednesday evening, from 6:00 to 6:45 pm PST, participants come together on Zoom for a guided meditation led by Rev. Siota Belle. This facilitator-led session welcomes meditators of all experience levels, offering a gentle invitation to explore sacredness in the community.

A Practice of Oneness

At its core, Wednesday Meditation is about more than relaxation—it’s an opportunity to invite the sacred into our awareness. Through guided practices, participants are encouraged to experience a sense of Oneness, where separation dissolves and connection deepens. Whether you’re new to meditation or have been practicing for years, the session provides a supportive environment to explore what sacredness means to you.

Each week, Rev. Siota Belle introduces a different meditation practice, offering variety and insight. From breath awareness to visualization, these techniques help participants tap into their innate stillness and open to the sacred in everyday life.

A Community of Peace

There’s something special about meditating with others, even in a virtual setting. The shared energy of a group can amplify the experience, creating a sense of connection that transcends the screen. In this safe and welcoming space, attendees come together to meditate and support one another on their spiritual journey.

For many, this midweek pause becomes a cherished ritual—a time to step away from the noise of the day and realign with inner peace. It’s a reminder that no matter how busy life gets, there’s always a place to find calm and clarity.

"Oneness" - Wednesday Evening Service with Rev. Russ

#1 - Oneness Spirit (whatever we choose to call the infinite “something”) is the source of all that is, and Spirit is all that is. Everything is made of Spirit and is a unique expression of The Infinite. What is Oneness? We hear this word quite a bit at the Center, but what does it really mean, and how is it useful in my life?  These are just some of the questions we will answer in tonight's Wednesday Evening Service as we embark upon our journey exploring the ten core concepts of the Science of Mind and Spirit. Join us at 7pm for music, freshly baked bread and tea, and an inviting community where we will learn all about Oneness.  See you soon! -Russ

"Spirit Is An Artist" - Wednesday Evening Service with Rev. Russ

Every breath we take, every new friend we make; the tallest snowy mountaintop to the darkest depths of the sea--all is an act of creation. In fact, because Spirit is all there is, that means that we, too, are endlessly creating. Whether we know it or not.  In tonight's Wednesday Evening Service, we continue our exploration of the Ten Core Concepts of the Science of Mind and Spirit with the third--the creative nature of Spirit. We'll share in spiritual exercises designed to grow your awareness of your creative nature so you can tap into it to paint the life of your dreams. And all will be wrapped in an atmosphere of music, freshly baked bread, and loving community.  See you soon! -Russ

"Living On a Prayer" - Wednesday Evening Service with Rev. Russ

Whether he knew it or not, Bon Jovi was affirming a powerful prayer in his iconic song, "Living On a Prayer." One of the lyrics goes like this: We've got to hold on to what we've got Cause it doesn't make a difference If we make it or not We've got each other and that's a lot For love - well give it a shot   Whooah, we're half way there Livin on a prayer Take my hand and we'll make it - I swear Livin on a prayer Tonight in our continuing series exploring the ten core concepts of the Science of Mind and Spirit, we will explore prayer--known as Spiritual Mind Treatment in the Science of Mind--and how we can use it to shift our mind from a focus on all that appears wrong, toward a focus on life that is rooted in compassion, love, and possibility.  See at the Center at 7pm! -Russ
