After attending one too many vigils and memorials for victims of mass shootings, Mohammad Jabbari was talking with his son Kazem. His son suggested that they do something about the violence by supporting people in being more kind to each other. That was the birth of the Sonoma County United in Kindness project. Since that conversation, more than 1500 persons have signed the Declaration of Unity in support of United in Kindness. Cities around the county have endorsed the program with resolutions and proclamations affirming the power of kindness. On Wednesday, September 1 at 7 pm, come hear how the project came to be and how the work of a few dedicated people can change people's points of view.
